Established in 1963 Thirlmere Church is an independent evangelical church on the south side of St Albans. We are an all age multi-cultural group of people who meet week by week to encourage each other to be faithful followers of Jesus – the Jesus revealed in the Bible. Thirlmere Church exists to proclaim the Gospel (Good News!) which is that God is liberating the world through Jesus Christ (Matt. 1:21; Col 1:20), and that he calls all men everywhere to repent from their sin and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation (Acts 2:38; 17:30).
